Summary
The Boner Bros woke to find their sweltering desert surroundings transformed into freezing tundra. With their car buried in snow and Blackjack trapped in a hypothermic seizure, the group flew on Dave toward the village of Holly Hollow, taking refuge at the Sno'where Like Home Inn as the annual Mid-Winter Jubilee began in the town square.
An announcer introduced the local festive legend of Father Klaus — and to the party's astonishment, the man in holiday garb was Glenn, Wild Fury's former associate and Head of HR, somehow aged terribly into an old man despite only five years passing. The festivities were violently interrupted by the Culinary Crusaders — hostile sentient food constructs including a sushi samurai and a taco knight. The party and Glenn neutralized them, only to discover the assault was a diversion: five local children had been abducted.
Holly Hollow's portly Mayor contracted the party for 500 gold to retrieve the children. Tracking footprints into the snowy forest, they found a quaint cottage hiding a portal in its fireplace — leading to a murky swamp and a twisted industrial factory where the children were chained to a conveyor belt. There they confronted the legendary fiend Krampus, who was morphing captives into gremlin-like creatures. Fighting through formidable immunities, they destroyed the fiend with a massive divine smite from Wild Fury and a high-voltage blast from Icarus — and in death, the monster reverted to its true, familiar form: Agatha the Hag.
Three surviving children were rescued. Glenn claimed a magical coat from Agatha's remains that shifted into an elegant red garment, while his wolf Walter transformed into a levitating stallion wolf. Assuming the mantle of the true Father Klaus, Glenn departed on a festive sleigh ride. The party collected their 500 gold and rested — until Wild Fury received a promotional flyer for The White Claw: a deadly invitation to face a maiden's champion in an arena where hearts fail.
