Overview
A god of The Dark Six — a hungering power of the deep, manifest (or served) at sea by the monster Sha'Argan and heralded by the Sovereign Prophet. It marks ships and souls as "meals" and demands sacrifice by the score.

- Sha'Argan — its maw at sea.
- Shard of the Great Devourer — the obsidian amulet that corrupts its bearers… or, in Blackjack's case, makes a Shepherd.
The Prophet and the Shepherd
Kaelen framed the duality: Valyrian is the beast's Prophet; Jack, vessel of the Shard, is its Shepherd. Jack has dreamt of inhabiting the Devourer's gargantuan body and bending it to his will (Session 9).
