Description
Once a sea-elf prince named Valyrian — brother to Kaelen and Vespera — twisted into the herald of The Great Devourer by one of its amulets. Speaks with a powerful, disembodied voice; commands sahuagin and the monster Sha'Argan.
Role in Campaign
The campaign's central antagonist so far. Collects sacrifices for the Devourer, consumed Captain Siren Shellsword for failing his quota, and has given Icarus one lunar cycle to deliver the thief of the Shard of the Great Devourer — unknowingly Blackjack, the Shepherd and his own counterpart.
Session History
Session 4
- Announced himself; had the Devourer consume Captain Siren Shellsword; his sahuagin fed the crew to Sha'Argan. Refused Icarus's bargain.
Session 5
- His origin revealed by Koa: a prince corrupted by a Devourer amulet.
Session 6
- Boarded the party's raft with Skum; delivered the ultimatum to Icarus (one lunar cycle, "head northeast"), then had tentacles swallow the party.
